Sage Durvasa Pose
Durvasasana
This advanced balance stands on one leg while the other is placed behind the head. Lift the chest and bring the hands together. It requires sufficient hip mobility without forcing the leg against the neck.
Durvasa (a sage) + asana (pose) → Sage Durvasa Pose.
This is the standing Durvasa Pose, distinct from the bound squat Pasasana.
This entry explains preparation and movement characteristics. It does not provide a complete practice procedure for the advanced photographed variation. Learn entry and exit directly with a teacher.
