Ear-Pressure Pose
Karnapidasana
From Plow, bend both knees beside the head in a deep inverted forward fold.
Karna means ear; pida means pressure.
Movement guidance
Preparation
First learn shoulder support and a controlled return in Plow.
Entry and alignment
Lower bent knees toward the ears without pressing the neck or forcing the knees to the floor.
Hold and breathe
Do not compress the neck or restrict breathing to bring the knees beside the ears. Keep breathing comfortably without holding your breath.
Exit and next movement
Move the knees away from the ears toward Plow, then use arm support to lower the back and pelvis.
Easier variations and preparation
Use a supine knees-to-chest preparation without loading the neck.
Difficulty refers to the photographed form. Individual experience may differ.
